The essentials for getting started with Swikly.

Ready to get started?
Test our platform for free.

Welcome to the Swikly quick-start guide! Its purpose is to give you all the keys to using Swikly and help you complete your registration.

Step 1: Fill in your company details

On your dashboard, click on your account name in the top left-hand corner.

You have an "Account information" category in which you'll need to enter your legal and commercial information, in particular the name of your business: it's the name that will be visible to your customers when you send them the deposit requests.

Tip: optimize the impact of your deposit requests by uploading your logo, which will be displayed in the emails sent to your customers.

Step 2: Provide your legal documents

Still in your account information category, go to "Legal documents".

To comply with banking regulations, upload your documents. The documents required are different depending on whether you are an individual, a sole trader, a nonprofit or a company.

You will find details of the documents to be provided in our FAQ section here.

Step 3: Fill in your payment details

You will need to complete the "Payment method" details which you will find in the "Preferences" tab in the bottom left-hand corner.

You'll need a valid bank card to confirm your identity digitally and for monthly billing.

Last step for your registration: go to the tab "Receipt of funds" and enter the bank account to which you will receive your funds in the event of damage.

All bank cards are accepted except American Express, Diners Club International, Visa Electron, systematic authorization debit cards and prepaid bank cards.

Step 4: Make your first Swik request

You can send your requests directly from your dashboard by clicking on "New request" in the left-hand menu, then, depending on your activity, choose "security deposit swik" or "no-show swik".

A "security deposit swik" helps you protect a property by sending a deposit request online (without debiting or blocking funds on your customers' bank cards).

A "no-show swik" helps you avoid no-shows and guarantee your customers' attendance without charging them in advance by sending an online deposit request.

Then fill in the request form with the following information:

Deposit amount

This is the maximum amount you can collect in the event of damage.

Email address and phone number

Your customer will receive his deposit request by e-mail and telephone.

Language of communication

6 languages available: English, French, German, Spanish, Italian and Dutch.

Reason for request

This will be the reason that appears in the e-mail received by your customer.

Dates of service

The deposit will automatically expire a few days after the end of the service.

To finish, click on "Create request"And now you've sent in your first Swik request!

You're now ready to get started.

Tip: you can also create a customizable permanent link to enable you to request as many swiks as you need for a fixed amount. You can even integrate it on your website, in your ads, in your automatic e-mails...

To do this, simply go to " Permalinks" in the left-hand menu, then click on "Create a permalink".
